Tulip is a cosmetics brand targeted at 25-35 year old urban women who want to make informed and eco-friendly purchases. Tulip products are simply made using vegan and organic ingredients. This simplicity is echoed in the brand’s branding and packaging. The letter “u” in Tulip is stylized to look like a simplified tulip flower. The brand’s colour pallet of green, yellow, pink and white bring to mind fresh flowers blooming in spring. Tulip’s association with spring is echoed throughout the brand’s fragrances.

This ad campaign was designed to direct 25-35 year old urban women to follow Tulip cosmetics on social media. The brand’s social media presence will build engagement and brand loyalty. Tulip cosmetics instagram will contain an equal balance of product, lifestyle and brand imagery, all with a friendly, delicate and feminine tone of voice. The brand’s mandate “vegan. organic. simple” will be the unifying theme; posts will educate followers on the benefits of organic, vegan beauty products and inspire followers to embrace their natural beauty.

From the artist sketching and discussing ideas at a coffee shop, to a over-worked office worker gulping down their fifth cup of the day, coffee fuels humanity. There is a surprisingly strong connection between a person’s self-identity and the coffee that they drink. Coffee can be an item used to denote culture, luxury and prestige, such as with a fancy espresso; or can be more utilitarian, like a cup of joe from a local diner. Your coffee says a lot about you.

Tycho's Nose Beer Brand & Packaging
Tycho Brahe, a 16th-century Danish nobleman and astronomer, played a key role in confirming the earth revolved around the sun; While a student, Tycho lost part of his nose in a sword duel and wore a golden prosthetic nose for the rest of his life. The duel is represented in the design by a nose that has been split down the middle. Half of the nose is red with blood; the other half is gold. A sword is contained within the letter N of “Nose.”Tycho’s Nose is a crisp and refreshing pilsner with a quirky, intelligent and whimsical brand voice. It is an easy drinking beverage served in 600ml bottles, a large quantity of beer for university students to drink during lengthy debates and discussions, just as Tycho would have done himself.
